      Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) is a good gas insulator. Its typical application is gas insulation in high-voltage switchgear of power supply systems. When the sulphur hexafluoride gas encounters high heat and high temperatures(e.g. arc), it produces hydrogen fluoride and sulphur dioxide gases, which coexist with undecomposed sulphur hexafluoride gases. The rated pressure of the SF6 high voltage circuit breaker is usually 0. 0.6 MPa(table pressure). The pressure of the SF6 gas must be checked against the temperature curve of the product when inflating or checking the temperature curve.

        Sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is a new type of high voltage circuit breaker using SF6 gas as insulation medium and arc extinguishing medium. The pure SF6 gas is colorless, non-olfactory, non-flammable and non-toxic inert gas. It has good insulation and arc extinguishing performance. Sulphur hexafluoride circuit breakers use high pressure SF6 gases, forming high pressure airflow between the vents and contacts in the arc extinguishing chamber to blow out the arc, the pressure of SF6 gases blowing arc up to 1-1.5 MPa. Sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is small in size, has high insulation strength, good arc extinguishing performance, long maintenance period and can form a closed combination appliance.
